Afrotege Careers:

We’re pleased to announce that we’re looking for Marketing Representatives and/or Content Creators to help us execute on our mission and vision.

Job Requirements: 

• Source, connect, and review quality tourism and travel sites of interest, educational institution, ethnic inspired home décor and lifestyle products and services in the West African region, specifically Lagos, Nigeria, & Accra, Ghana.
• Facilitate written approvals/contracts between Afrotege and prospective service providers, artisans, and vendors for providing their products and services on our online portal and content features on our social media sites.
• Facilitate logistics and shipping, product quality reviews, etc. to enable a fast and efficient shopping and fulfillment experience for all consumers.
• Improve Afrotege’s Online Marketing and Communications Strategy as follows:
• Generate visual content – pictures, audio, video, etc. to promote the Afrotege’s brand. Examples of content include vibrant pictures of markets, videos of artisans creating products, audio interviews on the impact Afrotege is making on their communities 
• Perform website content management and social media outreach and promotion i.e. www.afrotege.com Instagram, Clubhouse, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter,  etc.
• Monitor, cross-post and engage in content sharing on reputable blogs, forums, and social networks.
• Provide weekly status reports and/or participate in meetings as required
• Perform any other activities to grow the Afrotege’s brand

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution 

Duration:

• The internship will last 3-6 months, and subject to satisfactory performance, the intern will have the opportunity to take on a more permanent role at the expiration of this contract.

Compensation: 

• Competitive and negotiable base salary plus commission based on key performance metrics, incl:

1. Number and quality of service providers, vendors, and artisans recruited
2. Number and quality of trading agreements secured
3. Quality and number of visual content generated
4. Number and Quality of logistics/shipping processes
5. Etc.
